Description

This is a new staff favorite on the sativa end of the spectrum from Life Gardens.  We aren’t quite sure how the Durban Oasis relates to the Durban Poison that we’re more familiar with, but both are very similar.  John felt the warm orange sun on the back of his neck.  It’s tastes of Africa.  It starts earthy with a little bit of woody flavor (sandalwood, some say), with a faint citrus taste coupled with some sour diesel.  Joe contends that it smells piney, like Couchlock (by which I believe he means a strain, not a state of being).  It had great flavor, and a unique aroma.

The soaring high is tempered with a just the right amount of Indica to keep you from floating off the ground.  We felt ready to tackle any of the world’s problems.  It starts with a nice body buzz and moves out from there.

Durban Oasis is by far my FAVORITE strain. I first tried it after purchasing a gram from our local marijuana mercantile. I know that the “high experience” can vary from person to person smoking out of the same bowl. For me, I feel less of a body high and more of a mental one. I call it my “epiphany” weed because it truly brings enlightenment and deep, philosophical thoughts. It does not drain me of energy or leave me feeling lethargic afterwards. It’s good for creativity – writing, painting, etc.
This is going to sound so cliche, but I also love getting high off of this strain in the woods. The depth and concentration really make the beauty and intricacy of the forest both fascinating and creates a connection with nature.

    I definitely recommend!
