It’s time for the weekly weed report!

Important community alert, just in case you didn’t know, this is a big deal for some folks: Hood Canal Bridge will be closed to vehicular traffic each night between the hours of 11 p.m. and 5 a.m. from Saturday, March 18 through Saturday, March 25 for a construction project that rebuilds and replaces the internal mechanics of the draw span.

The Disco Bay Detour hosted a lively Jefferson County Chamber of Commerce mixer Tuesday night.  What a hoot!  We had great turn out, Trevor Hanson was playing jazz guitar and it was a great vibe to share with so many people visiting for their first time.  Chamber members got to explore the grocery and weed stores, getting familiar with our scene.  We thank everyone for checking us out and hope to see you again soon!

Exciting expansion news: The Detour is working to become an all ages venue, maybe an espresso stand in there…  Stay tuned, more information as it develops.

In neighborhood news come down to the Detour this Friday night to hear Anamcara perform a traditional Irish session, Irish Death stout on tap.
