It’s time for the weed report!

Moxey Mints has added 2 varieties this week, bringing their product line up to 7 options (see photo, all varieties currently available in the store).  They’ve still got their 5mg THC only Peppermint and Cinnamon mints, the 5mg/1mg CBD/THC Peppermint and Ginger mints.  This week they added a 1:1 (5mg THC/5mg CBD) Cinnamon mint to the Peppermint that has been available for a while.  The big deal is the 25:1 Peppermint, they’re saying this is the largest quantity of CBD available in any edible product in Washington State!  Each mint has 25mg of CBD and only 1mg of THC.  A tin of 20 mints costs $60.  This tracks with other CBD products available in the store, $25 gets you 100mg CBD, $35 can get 250mg CBD, now $60 buys 500mg CBD.

This week at the Disco Bay Detour:

Open M-F at 7am, S-S at 8am for COFFEE & NEWS – espresso, fresh pastries

New event! Wilderness Wednesdays at the Detour – Every Wednesday starting in April, 6-9pm
A Collaboration between Disco Bay Outdoor Exchange and Disco Bay Detour

Join Detour bartender, former wilderness ranger and current mountain guide Erin Reading for an evening focused on wilderness/outdoor adventure. The intention is to share collective knowledge with one another, build webs of connection among various outdoor communities, and to have fun delighting in one another’s adventure planning, stories, and questions. Everyone is encouraged to bring maps (yay!), trip planning ideas and resources, gear questions, pictures, or whatever else you feel inspired to ask or share.

While the foundation of Wilderness Wednesdays is simply a time to gather informally to pour over maps and share stories over drinks, some evenings will also feature a wilderness related presentation or workshop, with topics ranging from surfing, kayaking, backcountry skiing, and mountaineering to backpacking, flyfishing, local botany, and wild foraging. If you have a presentation or workshop you would like to share for one of the weeks (30-45min long presentation, plus some Q & A time) or a topic you would like to hear someone else speak about, contact Erin at erin.b.reading@gmail.com.

***Barring rain, we will have a fire going outside – feel free to bring something to grill on the schwenker or a snack/potluck dish to share if so inspired.***

For both experienced and aspiring outdoor adventurers – all are welcome! Hope to see you there!
