It’s time for the weed report!

Our 4th annual 4/20 celebration is here!  WEEEEEEEEEEEEE(d), HAPPY 4/20!

BE ADVISED: Please do not wait until 4:16pm to make your purchase or you might get skunked if you’re trying to synchronize!  This happened last year, too many last minute folks and frustration was thick!  Plan ahead and take your time!  Expect to find some great deals on 1 ounce packs of sparkling  “farmer cut” Blueberry Cheesecake (already sold out of Purple Urkle, more is on order) from Sustainnabis and outdoor Hog and 9lb Hammer from Primo Boss, and $18 half gram vape carts from Liberty Reach.  Enjoy at least 10% off everything Friday!  Any 4/20 specials left over will stay at that price until they are gone, so maybe Sunday will be like scoring tons of chocolate the day after Valentine’s day at the grocery store.

This week at the Disco Bay Detour:

Open daily at 7am for COFFEE & NEWS

Thursdays are the Acoustic Open Mic Jam, bring your songs and instruments from 5-8pm

Friday 4/20 Lost in the Shuffle – Detour regulars Ralph Baker and Gerry Sherman bring back their blues, ballads and originals from 7 to 10pm, free show

Saturdays and Sundays Noon to 6pm or until they run out of food….  Revolution Tacos will be on site bringing good eats to the streets!  Cilantroooooh yes they did!

Saturday 4/21 Paz al Mundo – The concept of Paz al Mundo “Peace to the world” is to bring peace and joy through music. Paz al Mundo is comprised of Three players from the Olympic Peninsula in WA state. Brian Douglas on guitars and vocals and the lovely Elaine Gardner Morales on guitars, bass guitar, and vocals, introducing Declan Westcott as percussionist. Playing a wide range of musical genres, new arrangements are brought together and created in their own unique style. Jazz, Rock, Pop, Blues, and Country are some of what you might be in for as they take you away for a night of music and joy. They come and invite you to an evening of peace through music. 7-10pm, free show

Monday 4/23  Monday Movie: Patriot Guard Riders – Another American Soldier Has Died. Who cares? The suffering of soldiers and their families is largely invisible to most Americans. But not to these Americans. ‘Patriot Guard Riders’ is a documentary about a 200,000 strong motorcycle group who attend military funerals to honor the fallen, and to protect grieving families from a hate group who descend on the funerals and harass them.  Filmmaker Q&A following the movie.  Free with donations accepted for filmmakers.
