It’s time for the weekly weed report!

Great news, everyone!  That is if you’ve missed Jack Herer as much as we have over the last six plus months…  Cedar Creek delivers next week!

I gotta tell you what’s happening next door at the Disco Bay Detour! Open daily at 7am for COFFEE & NEWS.  Thursday is the weekly Acoustic Open Jam, bring your instruments and songs. Friday night 8/18 it’s the ever so delightful Howly Slim with his island sounds.  Saturday 8/19 brings 2 shows (5-7pm and 8-10pm) with Bullets and Belles, described as Neo Doo Wop Folk, like if Amy Winehouse joined Taj Mahal and had the Ronnettes on backups.  If Sunday afternoon jazz is more your thing check out Wired Jazz with Brian Douglas from 2-4pm on 8/20.  Monday night 6pm it’s Dinner & a Movie, weekly potluck and screening of classic films or features from Pacific Northwest filmmakers. This week it’s a sweet 30 min documentary called Smoke, Sand and Rubber (2011) by our very own Greg Brotherton.  This is a story about an 87 year old racer who wants to get back in the driver’s seat.  And next Friday our Anna will be playing a BIRTHDAY SHOW with Karen Kunkel, Anna’s last show here before she moves to Bellingham.  Check the Disco Bay Detour events on Facebook to stay up to date.
